Welcome to Kit, a Braintied product. Braintied ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Name and contact information (email address, phone number)
• Professional information when you apply for positions
• Communications you send to us
• Any other information you choose to provide

We use the information we collect to:

10. Google User Data

Braintied has one Google connection, shown on Google's consent screen as "Braintied". You connect it once, through Kit, our assistant. (Your Sentigen workspace settings open the same connection.) The grant and the Google data it returns are held in Sentigen, Braintied's system of record, under your user account and workspace. Kit reads that data through Sentigen.

Braintied's other products, such as Parlor, Swishh, Comfy and Krue, are modules of the same system. A module receives data from this connection only through Kit, and only after you choose to give it access. Today no module receives data from this connection; only Sentigen and Kit use it. This section adds to the rest of this policy.

Data we access

The full connection asks Google for the permissions below in one consent screen. A calendar-only connection asks for your account identity and Calendar only.

• Account identity (openid, email, profile): your name, email address and profile picture, used to show which Google account is connected.
• Gmail (gmail.modify, gmail.compose, gmail.send): your messages, threads and labels. Used to search and organize your mail, summarize and prioritize it, change labels, read state, stars and archive status, write drafts, and send email you send from Sentigen or ask it to send.
• Google Calendar (calendar, calendar.events): your calendars and events. Used to show your schedule, prepare meeting context, and create or update events you ask for.
• Google Contacts (contacts.readonly): read-only access to your contacts, used to recognize the people you work with in your workspace.
• Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides (drive, documents, spreadsheets, presentations): used to find, read, create and edit the files you work on through Sentigen.

How we use it

We use Google data only to provide and improve the features you can see in Sentigen and Kit: mail search and triage, summaries, drafts and replies, scheduling, meeting context, contact context, and file work. To produce summaries, classifications and drafts, Sentigen sends the relevant parts of your Google data to AI model providers that process it on our behalf to return a result to you. We do not use Google data to serve advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

How we store and protect it

Every Google connection is tied to your user account and to the Sentigen workspace you connected it to. Your Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to our database. Data from your Google account, such as the copies of Gmail messages that power search, is stored in our database, which is encrypted at rest. Data moves between Google, Sentigen and our service providers over encrypted connections.

Sharing

We do not sell Google data. We do not share or transfer it except to provide or improve the features described above (including through the infrastructure and AI providers that process it on our behalf), with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.

Retention, disconnecting and deletion

• Disconnect. In Sentigen, open your workspace settings and disconnect the Google account. Sentigen stops syncing and stops using that connection. Disconnecting does not by itself delete data that was already stored.
• Revoke at Google. You can remove Braintied's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Delete. Email hello@braintied.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data. We delete your Sentigen account, the copies of your Gmail messages that Sentigen stored, and the other records tied to your account.
• Until you ask us to delete it, we keep stored Google data for as long as your Sentigen account exists, so that search and history keep working.

Limited Use

Braintied's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. People at Braintied do not read your Google data unless you ask us to (for example, for support), it is needed for security or to comply with law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
